Robert (Bob) C. Collins Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and Company Founder
Bob Collins incorporated Medical Transactions in November 2000. Collins' brings a duration of experience in the medical industry to the company including a number of senior-level positions at Medtronic, Daig Corporation, Possis Medical, InnoMedica and CPI, now Guidant.
Collins' twenty-five years of sales and marketing experience in the medical-device industry includes extensive experience in new product conception, product positioning, strategic planning, advertising, pricing, and forecasting. His comprehensive sales experience includes direct sales in the United States and international markets, manufacturers representative sales in the United States and the creation and management of international and U.S. sales forces. Collins' wide range of experience includes both business-to-business and end-user sales and marketing activities. A longtime trailblazer in the medical distribution field, Collins also founded and managed a successful Manufacturers Representative Company that sold products for a number of medical firms.
He serves on the faculty of National American University where he teaches courses in Economics, Entrepreneurship and Marketing and is a member of the American Marketing Association and The Minnesota Entrepreneur.
He holds a B.S. from the University of Southern California and a M.B.A from New York University.

Brian C. Collins Company Founder, Advisor
Brian Collins brings experience that spans both the software and investment industries. Combining deep business knowledge and technical skills, he serves as an interface between the Medical Transactions’ business team and development team.
Collins acquired his Series 7 Securities License while still enrolled as an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. After graduation, he worked as an Investment Executive at the St. Paul, Minnesota offices of the financial firms John G. Kinnard & Co. and Miller, Johnson, & Kuehn.
While attending the University of Minnesota, Collins developed a strong interest in Computer Science coursework. His experience as a Software Test Engineer at a large software development corporation included test case and test plan creation, as well as test code development. He was also responsible for bug discovery, investigation and triage. Collins acted as a communication link, both between the testers and developers on his team, and between his team and other component’s teams within the company. He also investigated customer issues elevated from technical support personnel.
Collins’s technical skills include programming experience in C, C++, and Visual Basic, as well as working knowledge of several scripting languages. He has extensive experience with Windows 2000 domain administration and network troubleshooting. Other administrative experience includes Windows NT 4.0, Windows 9X, and various flavors of the Unix operating system.
Collins is a member of Mensa of Washington. He received his BS degree with distinction from the University of Minnesota.

Tiffany L. Miller Vice President, Customer Relations
Tiffany Miller was named Medical Transactions' vice president of customer relations in May of this year. Miller is a valuable addition to the Medical Transactions team. She outlined and developed all customer-relations concepts, policies, procedures and training tools. Miller was instrumental during the many customer focus groups, which she co-led along with design firm Ask and Company. After extensive research and investigation into Medical Transactions' potential customers, Miller presented suggestions and solutions that led to the development the company's comprehensive customer service model.
Before joining Medical Transactions Tiffany Miller developed her customer relation skills serving both small and Fortune 500 companies. Most recently Miller served as Managing Supervisor of Customer Relations and International Customer Satisfaction for Northwest Airlines. She was recognized by Northwest Airlines for her excellence in the efficiency and effective handling of thousands of customer needs and concerns.
Miller earned her B.A. degree from The University of St. Thomas.

Karl A. Sowa Vice President of Quality Assurance and Director
Karl Sowa is an Internet and consumer retail executive with extensive general management knowledge. Sowa's experience includes the management of multimillion-dollar corporate profit centers, strong people management and organizational skills and the management of critical functions in high-growth start-up efforts in both new and established companies. Sowa has also gained depth of knowledge of current Internet technology, and has managed the marketing, operations, and financial functions associated with that technology.
Most recently, Sowa was the Vice President of Enterprise Development, wwwrrr, Minneapolis an e-learning company that developed and delivered Internet-based educational software. He was responsible for planning, implementing and managing the technology and infrastructure functions that served all of the customers and employees of wwwrrr. He managed the system development group and conducted major contract negotiations.
Before wwwrrr, Sowa was the Vice President of Electronic Commerce, at Musicland Group in Minneapolis. He led the team that designed, built and operated the company's e-commerce sites. He developed and led the electronic commerce organization, selected the essential technologies and vendors, and supervised the site development effort including all aspects of front-end and back-end systems.
Other experience includes management responsibilities with GeoCities, a pioneer in the concept of personal publishing and online communities.
Sowa earned his B.S. from Columbia University and his M.B.A. from Stanford University, MBA.
